Here are some reviews from previous classes …

"Ron's ability to combine theory with practical application made learning the new concepts easier. With helpful practice guides for at-home practice during the week, I achieved significant improvement in my skills. Ron is an encouraging and helpful teacher who adapted his lesson plan on the fly as needed to meet the needs of the student. I enjoyed the class tremendously, and felt accomplished by the end of the six weeks! Looking forward to the next session."
Krista B. - Illinois

"This course was very helpful. Ron’s teaching is simple and effective. I liked how he took all my questions and requests seriously. When he was not sure, he did his own research before getting back to me. I love that he enjoys teaching. I learned to play more songs and how to figure out chords. At the end of the 6 sessions, I felt my ukulele playing was leveled up. Thank you!"
Kie Y. - California

"Ron Hagadone combines several qualities that make for a great instructor. He’s experienced, he’s highly knowledgeable, he’s approachable, and he’s passionate about making information accessible to beginning learners. His lesson plans and course materials are high quality and well-organized, and I plan to keep them to refer back to as I continue to learn to play the ukulele. I appreciated that Ron introduced some basic music theory, which is something you’ll not find in most online “Learn to Play” materials. I know it will help me to be a better player and will add to my enjoyment of my instrument."
Claire B. - Washington

As a Board Certified Music Therapist, I help individuals achieve music and non-music goals through playing music instruments. My primary instruments are guitar and ukulele but expressing oneself on any instrument can increase mental sense of balance, self-discovery and confidence. The music learning experience has been shown for ages to decrease stress, address anxiety, improve symptoms of depression and bring people together. Music Therapy services can be arranged by contacting me directly or by referral from a friend, family member, mental health professional, family physician, educator, or substance abuse organization.
